I present to you the Song Remains the Same from the live concert taping of the same name. Happy jams, folks.

I've got 21:15:00 of Zepplin on my iPod. Yeah, I am bragging!

I've got the discography in my library, but I do a lot more listening on Spotify these days because of the portability/universality, and Zeppelin was the last big holdout in their library, for the most part.

Which versions do you have?
I just got all the "properly" remastered stuff, and it's actually quite different in parts because it's not so loud.

Most of my collection is the remastered stuff. Sometimes I like that about it, sometimes I don't. I have a few albums on vinyl, though, when I want the proper, speaker crackling mixes.

Yeah, I made a mix of my favorites for when we take my wife's car (mp3 capable CD changer) and I noticed immediately how quiet Ramble On is.
I actually prefer the louder version as the guitar is emphasized a little more.
I wish I could afford to be into vinyl. No room, and can't justify the expensive equipment. Maybe one day, provided they don't outlaw private ownership of media...

The investment in vinyl can be pricey, but I really enjoy it for a lot of occasions. It's not my go to for all listening occasions, but it's so choice to have around.
FWIW, a $50 turntable and a $100 pair of headphones (Sennheiser HD280s) should produce a sound quality that nothing else can touch for the money. Good speakers and great turntables cost money, but I've cheapskated my way through so far and if you're careful, you can do very well on a limited budget.
Space is a bit of an issue, though. A couple of rubbermaid storage bins full of vinyl plus cabinet speakers plus table space for a turntable is hard to find. And hunting down vinyl does ruin every vacation for my girlfriend, as I insist on stopping in at every hole in the wall record store in whatever cities we visit.

Zeppelin played on the radio yesterday and my daughter (who has never seen them) said "wouldn't it be funny if that was a man singing"? I remember seeing the SRTS movie as a kid and remember the cognitive dissonance of why a dude in girl's blouse imitating Janis Joplin could be so cool.
